EDP Renewables seeks an Asset Management Senior Associate to drive commercial excellence across a dynamic renewable energy portfolio of 800-2000 MW in the New York region. In this pivotal role, you will oversee profit & loss activities, develop strategic budgets, and ensure all commercial and governmental obligations are met with precision. You'll manage critical relationships with turbine OEMs and O&M service providers while implementing consistent operational strategies across assigned projects. This position bridges commercial oversight and operational execution, requiring you to analyze performance metrics, facilitate complex service agreements, and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance fleet performance and reduce risk exposure. You will track key milestones across turbine supply, O&M, PPA, tax equity, and interconnection agreements, while supporting the transition of new projects from construction into operations. Your analytical insights will inform business cases to management and reporting obligations to financing entities. Vos missions

Oversee project P&L activities and identify financial gaps for assigned assets
Develop project-level annual budgets and longer-term business plans in collaboration with operations groups
Perform budget analyses including variance reports and reforecasts with financial commentary
Facilitate and support execution of service agreements with OEMs and service providers
Interface with Operations, Performance Management, and turbine manufacturers on operational and commercial issues
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve material issues and drive fleet performance improvements
Track and manage commercial and governmental obligations across major agreements
Support Performance Management in creating business cases and reporting to financing entities

Profil recherché

Proven experience in asset management or commercial operations in renewable energy
Strong financial acumen including P&L management and budget analysis
Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial agreements and contracts
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Project management and cross-functional team leadership experience
Knowledge of renewable energy markets, operations, and regulatory environment
Proficiency with financial modeling and data analysis tools
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

Experience with SCADA systems or performance monitoring software
Familiarity with PPA and interconnection agreements
Knowledge of wind or solar energy operations
Prior experience with tax equity financing structures
MBA or advanced business qualification
