Voltalia seeks an experienced Contract Manager (EPC) to join its Porto office and oversee Engineering, Procurement & Construction projects from inception through completion. In this pivotal role, you'll manage contractual relationships with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. You'll navigate complex contractual frameworks, mitigate risks, and drive cost optimization across renewable energy infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful energy transition initiatives across diverse geographies, combining strategic contract negotiation with hands-on project oversight. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—engineering, procurement, operations—to deliver world-class renewable energy solutions. If you're a detail-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen, risk management expertise, and a passion for renewable energy, this role will challenge and reward you with exposure to large-scale international projects.
Vos missions
- Manage EPC contracts lifecycle from award through project completion
- Oversee contractual compliance and performance with suppliers and contractors
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control measures
- Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams
- Prepare and review contract amendments and change orders
- Report on project status and contractual metrics to stakeholders
Profil recherché
- 3+ years of experience in contract management or EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial agreements
- Proficiency in project management and cost control
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in renewable energy or heavy construction projects
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience with international contracts and multi-jurisdictional projects
- Knowledge of Portuguese regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with EPC risk allocation and insurance
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)
