Voltalia is seeking an experienced Development Project Manager to lead Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects in Tashkent. In this strategic role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from feasibility studies through commissioning—ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and commercial viability. You'll manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with local stakeholders, and drive project delivery within budget and schedule constraints. This position offers the opportunity to shape renewable energy infrastructure in Central Asia while navigating complex market dynamics and developing long-term business relationships. Your expertise in project management, combined with deep understanding of energy sector requirements, will be critical to securing project approvals and achieving operational success. You'll report to senior leadership and work closely with engineering, commercial, and operations teams. This is a hands-on role requiring presence in-country with regular site visits and stakeholder engagement.
Vos missions
- Oversee complete project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning
- Manage project budget, schedule, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies
- Lead cross-functional engineering and commercial teams
- Conduct site assessments and ensure technical compliance
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communications
- Monitor project KPIs and implement corrective actions
Profil recherché
- 7+ years in project management within energy/infrastructure sector
- Strong understanding of IPP development and power generation
- Fluent English; local language proficiency beneficial
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects
- Knowledge of regulatory and grid connection requirements
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in Central Asian markets
- Background in renewable energy development
- Familiarity with PPA and financing structures
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)
- Experience with EPC contractors and O&M operations
