EDP Renewables, the world's fourth-largest wind energy producer and a global leader in renewable energy, seeks a Financial Performance Expert to drive financial excellence across its North American operations. Based in Houston, TX, you will orchestrate OPEX modelling and budgeting activities for a portfolio spanning 28 markets, harmonizing financial assumptions and cost structures across operating assets. This strategic role bridges Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Operations, Finance, and FP&A functions, ensuring consistent financial planning and data-driven decision-making at enterprise scale. You will lead the annual North American OPEX budgeting cycle, coordinate global estimation methodologies, and mentor cross-functional teams in advanced financial modelling. Your insights will inform long-term business plans and support senior leadership in optimizing operational efficiency across renewable energy assets. The role demands expertise in financial analysis, process coordination, and the ability to translate complex cost data into actionable business intelligence for a company committed to being all-green by 2030.

Vos missions

Lead annual North American OPEX budgeting process across Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Operations, Finance, FP&A, and regional leadership
Support forecasts and long-term business plans in partnership with Asset Operations and Finance teams
Coordinate global OPEX modelling and ensure consistent application of estimation methodologies across regions
Review and coordinate OPEX estimation activities, providing technical guidance and training to team members
Lead monthly OPEX performance reviews at site level with Portfolio Management and Asset Management

Profil recherché

Strong expertise in financial modelling and OPEX budgeting processes
Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex matrix environments
Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and cost estimation methodologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in renewable energy or energy sector operations

Background in wind or renewable energy asset management
Familiarity with global financial planning systems and ERP platforms
Experience mentoring and developing financial teams
