TEPGB also serves as an innovation hub for European projects, particularly in emerging solutions such as self-consumption, demand-side management, dynamic pricing, solar panels and electric mobility.
Your responsibilities
As a Financial Performance Modeling Analyst within TEPGB’s Energy Management team, you will assess the profitability of our sourcing strategy, produce long-term financial analyses and strengthen the quantitative models used to manage procurement risks.
Financial performance and closing: contribute to the monthly financial closing by providing a detailed view of gas and electricity sourcing costs; calculate, analyse, validate and publish the Procurement P&L and Trading P&L, including the indirect-margin KPI.
Risk monitoring: publish and monitor risk indicators for gas, electricity, green certificates and guarantees of origin; anticipate and explain the impact of market and regulatory developments on procurement costs.
Quantitative modelling: improve models used to assess procurement risks, further develop the revenue-modelling tool used to calculate gross margin based on customer pricing formulas, and drive the Energy Management department’s development of quantitative expertise by promoting robust modelling practices, knowledge sharing and the effective use of analytical tools.
Processes and data: design, optimise and maintain operational processes and data flows to improve the Energy Management team’s efficiency, reliability and agility.
Python development and technology: develop, maintain and continuously improve the Energy Management programming framework in Python, and contribute to the optimisation of supporting IT processes.
Expertise: build strong quantitative knowledge of energy markets and support Portfolio Managers with clear, decision-ready analysis.

Education and experience
Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, economics, business management or a related field
One to three years of relevant professional experience
Initial experience in financial reporting or energy management is an asset
Understanding and interest in energy markets and complex market dynamics is an asset
Technical skills
Strong quantitative-modelling and programming skills
Advanced proficiency in Python is essential, including strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and the ability to develop and maintain robust quantitative models.
Solid SQL skills and proficiency in Excel and Power BI
Familiarity with Git and platforms such as GitHub
Knowledge of Docker and Shell is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Profil recherché
- Master's degree in engineering, computer science, economics or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Python with strong object-oriented programming knowledge
- Solid SQL skills and proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Strong quantitative modelling and analytical skills
- Fluent in French with professional proficiency in English
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
