EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production including wind, solar, and hydrogen, seeks a Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to join its Lisbon Business Platform. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial backbone of the EDP Group, orchestrating monthly consolidation activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple geographies and business units. You will work at the intersection of accounting precision and strategic financial analysis, loading and validating accounting data into consolidation systems, identifying key variations, and preparing comprehensive financial information for the Corporate Center. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in IAS/IFRS standards while collaborating with diverse teams across the EDP Group's international operations. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial processes while maintaining autonomy and contributing effectively to a team environment. As EDP Renewables accelerates its global renewable energy expansion, this analyst role is essential to maintaining financial transparency and supporting informed decision-making across the organization. You will gain exposure to multinational financial consolidation processes, advanced reporting tools, and the dynamic energy transition landscape.
Vos missions
- Support the preparation of monthly consolidation activities for the EDP Group
- Load accounting data into the consolidation system and validate main variations
- Prepare financial information for reporting to the Corporate Center across multiple geographies and platforms
- Support the preparation of financial information and analysis for Corporate Center departments
- Analyze accounting impacts arising from new operations
Profil recherché
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation or related area
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team
Un plus si vous avez
- Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting standards
- Spanish language skills
- Previous experience in a multinational or international environment
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills or experience with financial data analysis tools
