Voltalia, a leading French renewable energy company, is seeking an HSE Coordinator to strengthen its Health, Safety, and Environment management across its global operations. In this strategic role, you will be the driving force behind our commitment to creating safe, compliant, and sustainable work environments. You'll develop and implement HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to international standards and local regulations across our solar, wind, and other renewable energy projects worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on workplace safety culture while supporting Voltalia's rapid expansion in the renewable energy sector. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and management to identify hazards, implement preventive measures, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. Your expertise will be instrumental in positioning Voltalia as an industry leader in HSE excellence, ensuring that every employee and contractor returns home safely. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on involvement in site audits and incident investigations, making it ideal for someone passionate about building a safety-first organization.
Vos missions
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures across all operations
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments on renewable energy sites
- Ensure compliance with international HSE standards and local regulations
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to prevent recurrence
- Coordinate HSE training programs for employees and contractors
- Monitor HSE performance metrics and report to management
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external HSE consultants
Profil recherché
- 3-5 years of experience in HSE management or similar role
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in English and French
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in renewable energy or construction sector
- Certifications in HSE management (IOSH, NEBOSH)
- Proficiency in additional languages
- Experience with HSE software and reporting tools
