Voltalia is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join its operations in French Guiana. This role is critical in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our renewable energy facilities in this dynamic region. As HSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs across all operational sites. You will lead a team dedicated to fostering a strong safety culture, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring full compliance with French and local Guyanese regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing incidents, protecting our workforce, and maintaining our commitment to environmental stewardship. You will collaborate closely with site managers, operations teams, and external stakeholders to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance. This position offers the opportunity to shape safety practices in a growing renewable energy portfolio while working in an unique geographical and cultural context. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining Voltalia's reputation as a responsible operator and ensuring our facilities meet the highest international HSE standards.
Vos missions
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures
- Lead HSE team and coordinate safety programs across all sites
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification
- Ensure compliance with French and local environmental regulations
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Foster a strong safety culture and conduct training programs
- Manage HSE documentation, reporting, and audits
Profil recherché
- Minimum 3-5 years of HSE management experience in energy or industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of French and international HSE regulations
- Bachelor's degree in HSE, Environmental Science, or related field
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in renewable energy sector
- Knowledge of tropical environment operational challenges
- Proficiency in HSE management systems and software
- International HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar)
