EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production including wind, solar, and hydrogen, is seeking an Insulating Materials Laboratory Technician for its Networks division in Sacavém, Portugal. This role is central to ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical infrastructure through rigorous analysis of insulating materials. You will conduct comprehensive analytical methods on insulating oils and insulating paper materials, perform field activities involving sample collection, and analyze laboratory results to assess material integrity. Your work will include statistical analysis of analytical data to support critical laboratory studies and reporting that directly impacts operational safety and efficiency. This position combines hands-on laboratory work with field activities, requiring both technical precision and practical problem-solving skills. Vos missions

Perform analytical methods related to insulating oils and insulating paper materials
Carry out field activities involving the collection of insulating oil samples
Analyse and interpret laboratory results to ensure accurate assessment of insulating materials
Perform statistical analysis of analytical data to support laboratory studies and reporting

Profil recherché

Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
Valid driver's license
At least one year of laboratory experience working with insulating oil samples
Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) software
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Un plus si vous avez

Knowledge of electrical infrastructure and grid systems
Experience with insulating paper materials analysis
Strong statistical analysis capabilities
