Voltalia is seeking a motivated intern to join our Project Finance and M&A team in Paris. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic sectors of the energy transition. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects involving project finance analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic investments in renewable energy. During this internship, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of financial modeling, deal structuring, valuation methodologies, and due diligence processes specific to the renewable energy sector. You will contribute to feasibility studies, financial analysis of solar, wind, and other renewable projects, and support the evaluation of potential acquisition targets. This role will expose you to the full lifecycle of energy projects—from initial concept through financial close. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your analytical skills and attention to detail directly impact investment decisions. The internship combines technical financial work with exposure to strategic decision-making, making it ideal for someone passionate about renewable energy and finance. You will enhance your understanding of how project finance drives the energy transition globally.
Vos missions
- Support financial modeling and analysis of renewable energy projects
- Conduct due diligence on M&A targets and acquisition opportunities
- Assist in valuation and feasibility studies for solar, wind, and other renewable assets
- Prepare financial presentations and investment memoranda
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in renewable energy
Profil recherché
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling
- Excellent English language skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and energy transition
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or financial analysis software
- Knowledge of project finance concepts and structures
- Familiarity with renewable energy sector and market dynamics
- Multilingual capabilities (French, Spanish, or Portuguese)
