Join Orano USA as a Licensing Specialist and play a pivotal role in the development of Project IKE, a cutting-edge uranium enrichment facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. You will serve as a key regulatory interface, maintaining the facility's licensing basis and ensuring full compliance with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements. Working collaboratively with operations, safety, engineering, and quality teams, you'll prepare critical regulatory submittals, coordinate NRC interactions, and support the Integrated Safety Analysis. This position demands expertise in 10 CFR Parts 30, 40, 70, 71, and 74, combined with strong technical writing capabilities. You'll influence facility strategy through license amendment requests, exemption requests, and regulatory change assessments. Vos missions

  • Prepare, revise, and maintain licensing basis documents including License Application, ISA Summary, Safety Analysis Report, and Environmental Report
  • Develop and submit license amendment requests, exemption requests, and NRC correspondence
  • Serve as primary interface with NRC for inspections, audits, meetings, and Requests for Additional Information
  • Coordinate NRC inspections and prepare evidence packages with subject-matter experts
  • Review facility changes for compliance and perform 10 CFR 70.72 change evaluations
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Integrated Safety Analysis and associated controls
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams on regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and guidance on licensing basis requirements to internal stakeholders

Profil recherché

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, nuclear engineering, chemistry, or business-related disciplines
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in nuclear regulatory compliance, NRC licensing, or DOE nuclear operations
  • Working knowledge of NRC regulations, especially 10 CFR Parts 30, 40, 70, 71, and 74
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to produce clear, defensible regulatory documents
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to facility operations

Un plus si vous avez

  • Master's degree in regulatory affairs or regulatory science
  • Experience with NUREG-1520 or ISA Summary development
  • Prior involvement in NRC inspections or regulatory affairs
  • Experience with risk-informed licensing approaches
  • Familiarity with uranium enrichment facilities
