EDP Renewables seeks a Medium & Low Voltage Network Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical distribution networks in the Braga District. In this pivotal role, you will oversee construction works across Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Public Lighting infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver telecontrol points, manage field operations, and propose strategic network developments and investments. Your responsibilities extend to data collection for operational indicators, safety oversight, and supporting customer complaint resolution alongside the Project Design team. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to shape critical energy infrastructure while working in a dynamic, inclusive organization committed to renewable energy innovation. Based in Guimarães with frequent travel across the operational area, you'll contribute directly to EDP's mission of creating new energy for the planet, combining technical expertise with leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Vos missions
- Ensure collaboration in supporting and implementing construction works in Medium Voltage and Low Voltage networks
- Design, cost, and manage licensing of new construction works in MV and LV networks using company software
- Supervise implementation of Medium Voltage telecontrol points (TCMT)
- Collect data for operational indicators calculation to measure results and define efficiency actions
- Manage availability and capacity of External Service Providers on field work
- Identify and propose new network developments and investments in MV, LV, and Public Lighting
- Support the Operational Manager in handling day-to-day issues
- Ensure safety procedures are consistently implemented by internal teams and partners
Profil recherché
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Energy specialization
- Up to 5 years of professional experience in similar roles
- Strong ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously in MV, LV, and Public Lighting
- Solid understanding of electrical grid structure and technologies
- Proficiency in Office tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Availability to travel for work within the Braga District operational area
Un plus si vous avez
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to MV, LV, and Public Lighting Operation
- Experience managing teams and prioritizing complex activities
- Knowledge of telecontrol systems and SCADA technologies
