Orano Canada, leader in uranium production and clean energy solutions, seeks an experienced Mill Maintenance Planner to join its McClean Lake operation. This strategic role sits at the intersection of maintenance planning, equipment optimization, and operational excellence. You'll orchestrate the scheduling and execution of maintenance repairs, investigate equipment failures to identify root causes, and drive corrective actions that prevent costly reoccurrences. This position offers unique opportunities to supervise contractors, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving innovations through equipment modifications and material substitutions. Working within a regulated nuclear environment, you'll maintain compliance with governing authorities while managing competing priorities in a demanding, fast-paced setting. The role combines technical expertise with administrative rigor—from compiling equipment data sheets and bill of materials to ensuring accurate maintenance libraries and vendor documentation. Vos missions
- Plan and schedule current and future maintenance repairs
- Examine equipment failures and identify root causes with maintenance personnel
- Implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure reoccurrence
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulating authorities
- Compile equipment data sheets and specify material requirements
- Identify and ensure availability of resources required to complete jobs
- Evaluate trends and identify cost-saving opportunities through equipment modifications
- Supervise contractors and manage maintenance library accuracy
Profil recherché
- Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician/Instrumentation or Electrical Engineer/Technologist certification
- Strong administrative skills and maintenance aptitude
- Strong computer skills and SAP system proficiency
- Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage competing priorities in demanding environments
- High organizational skills with emphasis on detail
- Ability to work rotating schedule (14 days in/14 days out)
Un plus si vous avez
- Previous industrial maintenance planning experience
- SAP experience with PM module
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies
- Leadership and contractor supervision experience
