Orano Canada, leader in uranium production and clean energy, seeks an experienced Mine Maintenance General Supervisor for its McClean Lake operations in Northern Saskatchewan. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire mine maintenance program, ensuring safe operations and environmental compliance across all equipment and systems. You'll lead maintenance supervisors and planners, develop comprehensive training initiatives, and implement reliability-based maintenance strategies to optimize operational efficiency. This position demands strong technical expertise in mechanical systems combined with proven leadership capabilities. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgeting and inventory control, and establish robust documentation systems to measure performance. The role offers the opportunity to shape maintenance culture and professional development within a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Working in a fly-in/fly-out operation with modern on-site camp facilities, you'll contribute to powering the future with sustainable nuclear energy while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
Vos missions
- Develop, implement, record, evaluate, and improve the mine maintenance program
- Supervise and mentor Maintenance Supervisors and Planners with collaborative leadership
- Maintain and enhance preventative and predictive maintenance programs and work order processes
- Plan and organize maintenance work for upcoming weeks and assist with short/long-term scheduling
- Manage inventory and cost control to optimize operational efficiency
- Conduct investigations to evaluate maintenance performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality management, regulatory, and licensing requirements
- Establish documentation systems to measure performance and compile required reports
Profil recherché
- Considerable maintenance experience in a similar supervisory role
- Secondary education (degree, diploma, or certificate)
- 5+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong mechanical background and technical expertise
- Experience with reliability-based maintenance strategies and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Un plus si vous avez
- SAP software knowledge and proficiency
- Experience with Operational Excellence and 5S methodologies
- Track record of developing training programs
- Familiarity with fly-in/fly-out mining operations
- Commitment to workforce diversity and inclusion
