Join EDP Renewables' Networks Operations & Maintenance team in Faro or Tavira and play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and sustainability of Portugal's electrical distribution infrastructure. As a Networks Operations & Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and integration of Low, Medium, and High Voltage distribution networks, including public lighting systems and remote control units. Your work will directly support the transition to renewable energy by maintaining the grid infrastructure that delivers clean power to customers across the region. You will participate in planned maintenance activities, budget planning, and the implementation of new technologies into the network. This is a dynamic role requiring technical expertise in electrical installations combined with problem-solving skills and a commitment to operational excellence. You will work both during standard hours and on-call rotations to ensure continuous network support. Additionally, you will contribute to fraud detection and system innovation initiatives, helping EDP Renewables advance its vision of creating new energy for the planet. Vos missions
- Inspect and operate Low and Medium Voltage distribution networks under normal and on-call conditions
- Participate in maintenance plans for MT, BT, and IP network assets
- Execute scheduled interventions for correction and improvement of network assets
- Integrate new infrastructures into the electrical distribution network
- Assist in detection and rectification of fraud and theft in the network
- Contribute to budget planning and preparation of Investment Plans
- Support development of operational procedures for sustainable technology integration
Profil recherché
- 12th-grade education with preference for Technological and Vocational training in Electrical Installation, Networks, or related fields
- Up to 5 years of professional experience in technical operational roles
- Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in construction or maintenance of electrical installations
- Basic computer skills (Windows) and proficiency in Office tools
- Valid driving license and availability for frequent travel
- Mandatory availability for on-call roster assistance outside normal working hours
- Residence in Portugal, preferably near workplace
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in maintenance activities and working at heights training
- Proven experience in electrical installation switching and isolation procedures
- Experience with SIT, JUMP, Mobility, and PROGEST software environments
