À propos du poste

Join Orano USA as a Nuclear Safety/Integrated Safety Analysis Engineer on Project IKE, a cutting-edge uranium enrichment facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This career-defining opportunity places you at the forefront of clean energy innovation, where you'll develop and implement comprehensive Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA) frameworks compliant with 10 CFR 70 Subpart H and NRC guidance. You will lead hazard identification, process safety analysis, and Items Relied On For Safety (IROFS) definition across enrichment processes, UF6 handling, and critical support systems. Your expertise will ensure the facility meets rigorous nuclear safety standards while supporting NRC licensing and operational readiness. As a key member of Orano's safety leadership team, you'll integrate nuclear criticality safety, chemical consequence analysis, fire protection, and human-performance considerations into a cohesive safety case. This role demands technical excellence, regulatory acumen, and the ability to mentor junior analysts while establishing safety standards for a first-of-a-kind commercial enrichment facility. You'll challenge design decisions across disciplines, investigate operational events, and present defensible technical findings to project leadership and federal regulators. The position offers significant responsibility in shaping nuclear safety strategy for one of the industry's most strategic projects.
