EDP Renewables seeks an Operations Site Supervisor to lead operations and maintenance activities at the Reloj del Sol Wind Farm in San Ygnacio, Texas. This role represents a critical leadership position within our Renewable Generation Assets platform, overseeing balance-of-plant (BOP) assets for wind power generation facilities ranging from 100 to 400 megawatts. As Site Supervisor, you will manage all operational and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. Your responsibilities encompass turbine operations management, contractor oversight, facility performance monitoring against KPIs, and daily ownership representation before interconnection entities and community stakeholders. You will facilitate comprehensive reporting protocols, engage equipment suppliers and service partners, and champion best practices across all on-site activities. This is an onsite, full-time role requiring strong leadership capabilities to maximize performance, ensure system reliability, and deliver exceptional value retention for assigned facilities. The position bridges technical wind energy expertise with community relations and internal stakeholder management, making it ideal for experienced professionals seeking to drive the energy transition.
Vos missions
- Manage all operations and maintenance activities for balance-of-plant (BOP) assets within established operating guidelines for 100–400 megawatt projects
- Oversee facility operations, maintenance contracts, and warranty agreements; manage turbine operations for off-warranty sites
- Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting in accordance with operational, safety, regulatory, and environmental performance requirements
- Monitor facility performance against expected results and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Represent the company before interconnection entities, customer representatives, and in landowner and community relationships
- Ensure on-site safety standards, quality communications infrastructure, and contractor performance monitoring
- Monitor new facility construction and commissioning activities; ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices
Profil recherché
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in wind energy operations
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise
Un plus si vous avez
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field
- Familiarity with resource studies, environmental assessments, and transmission issues
- Knowledge of solar energy operations and maintenance
