EDP Renewables is seeking a Performance Analysis Senior Specialist to drive excellence across its global wind, solar, and storage portfolios. In this strategic role, you will translate advanced performance analytics into actionable improvement initiatives, leading the identification and prioritization of performance issues across EDPR assets in North America. You'll shape performance management practices by defining and standardizing advanced performance indicators, analytical methodologies, and long-term issue detection frameworks at scale. As a senior performance partner to the Asset Operations team, you will design and oversee BI dashboards and analytical tools using SQL, Azure, Databricks, and related platforms, ensuring data quality and robustness through validated controls and best practices. You'll facilitate cross-functional performance reviews, provide strategic insights for resource prioritization, and actively contribute to global Performance Analysis initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence renewable energy operations through data-driven decision-making, driving sustainable performance gains while supporting digitalization and continuous improvement across North America and beyond.
Vos missions
- Lead identification and prioritization of performance drivers and underperformance issues across EDPR wind, solar, and storage assets
- Define, standardize, and improve advanced performance indicators and analytical methodologies across regions
- Design and govern BI dashboards and analytical tools for performance monitoring and executive reporting
- Ensure data quality, validation controls, and traceability of performance datasets
- Act as senior performance partner to Asset Operations, facilitating strategic performance reviews and escalations
- Provide performance insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions and resource prioritization
- Lead global Performance Analysis initiatives ensuring alignment across North America and other EDP regions
- Design and oversee SQL, PI, Azure, and Databricks data extraction and transformation processes
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, or STEM field
- 3-5 years of work experience in performance management or renewable energy sector
- High level of English proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- SQL programming experience
- Knowledge of Power BI development
- Experience with big data analytics and cloud computing including Azure
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Master's degree in relevant field
- Spanish or Portuguese language proficiency
- Python or R programming experience
- Databricks platform expertise
- Wind, solar, or renewable energy operational experience
