EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production, seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive utility-scale renewable energy projects across Italy. In this hybrid role based in Milan, you will orchestrate the complete project lifecycle—from permitting and grid connection through construction, COD, and operational handover. You'll manage complex cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders including TSOs/DSOs, ensuring alignment on milestones, budgets, and risks. Your expertise in wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) will be critical as you oversee schedule optimization, cost control, and proactive risk mitigation. With 6–10 years in renewable energy project management and a strong command of Italian permitting and grid processes, you'll support project governance, investment decisions, and construction readiness. This position demands strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities, problem-solving acumen, and the ability to thrive under pressure while building lasting relationships with authorities and partners. You'll contribute to EDP's mission of creating new energy for the planet within an inclusive, innovative organization that empowers ambitious professionals.
Vos missions
- Manage renewable energy projects across the full lifecycle, from permitting and grid connection to construction, COD and handover to Operations, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Lead cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on milestones, budget, risks and delivery priorities
- Oversee the grid connection process, coordinating with TSOs/DSOs and monitoring technical requirements, timelines, dependencies and risks
- Monitor project schedule, costs, critical path and key risks, proactively defining mitigation and corrective actions
- Support project governance, budget updates, investment decisions and readiness for construction start and COD
Profil recherché
- Master Degree in Engineering
- 6 to 10 years of experience in renewable energy project management
- Proven exposure to utility-scale wind, solar and BESS projects
- Hands-on experience across the project lifecycle from permitting to operational handover
- Good understanding of permitting processes and Italian renewable energy sector regulations
- Fluent Italian and English languages
- Strong project management, budget control and risk management skills
Un plus si vous avez
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience in cross-functional coordination within structured and multi-disciplinary organizations
- Knowledge of grid connection processes with TSOs/DSOs
