Voltalia, a leading global renewable energy company, is seeking a Regional Procurement Associate to join our Cairo office. This role is pivotal in supporting our expanding operations across North Africa and the Middle East, where we are scaling our solar and wind energy projects. As a Procurement Associate, you will be at the heart of our supply chain strategy, responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of equipment and services essential to our energy projects. You will work closely with project teams, finance, and senior procurement management to identify vendors, manage contracts, and maintain vendor relationships. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop procurement expertise in the renewable energy sector while contributing to the global energy transition. You will handle procurement activities for both capital and operational expenditures, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Vos missions
- Source and identify qualified suppliers for equipment, materials, and services required for renewable energy projects
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost savings and project timelines
- Manage vendor relationships and performance to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery
- Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement documentation and compliance
- Monitor procurement budgets and report spending to project and finance teams
- Coordinate with project teams to understand procurement requirements and timelines
- Support bid evaluation processes and supplier selection decisions
Profil recherché
- 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in energy, construction, or manufacturing sectors
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly advantageous
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of international procurement practices and import/export regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in renewable energy or EPC project procurement
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Previous experience working in Middle East or North Africa region
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (APICS, CIPS)
- Knowledge of local Egyptian supplier networks and business practices
