EDP Renewables seeks an experienced Senior Field Operations Specialist to lead operational excellence across our Solar Self-Consumption business in Portugal. This hybrid role bridges internal teams and external service providers, driving seamless coordination of field activities, maintenance, and installation operations. You will own operational capacity planning, monitor critical KPIs, and champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Managing external partners and service contracts, you'll anticipate risks, solve complex problems proactively, and ensure agreed performance standards are consistently met. This position offers meaningful impact on renewable energy delivery, combining strategic oversight with hands-on stakeholder engagement in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Vos missions
- Coordinate Field Operations activities, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners
- Plan and monitor operational capacity, activity forecasts and priorities
- Track key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage relationships and performance of external service providers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service quality
- Work closely with different teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective operations
- Monitor service levels and ensure agreed quality and performance standards are met
Profil recherché
- University Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in operations, Field Service, maintenance, installation or technical services
- Proven experience managing operational teams and/or external service providers
- Solid knowledge of the Solar Self-Consumption business, including installation, maintenance and regulatory context
- Experience managing external partners and service contracts
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Un plus si vous avez
- Additional training in Operations Management, Project Management or Renewable Energy
- Experience defining, monitoring and improving operational KPIs
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
