EDP Renewables seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee renewable energy plant operations in Warsaw. This critical role bridges technical management and operational excellence, with responsibility for daily maintenance coordination, subcontractor supervision, and continuous system monitoring across substations, high and medium voltage lines, and transformer stations. You will manage incident resolution, SCADA system oversight, and remote reporting to ensure optimal plant efficiency and availability. Acting as the site's operational leader, you'll implement preventive maintenance strategies, manage personnel and fleet resources, communicate with external partners, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position demands strong technical expertise, decisiveness under pressure, and the ability to work both standard hours and on-call for emergencies. You'll directly impact EDP's renewable generation capacity and contribute to Europe's energy transition while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards.
Vos missions
- Coordinate and authorize work of main service providers and subcontractors
- Manage daily maintenance operations and assign technical tasks
- Monitor SCADA systems and generate performance reports
- Ensure compliance with procedures and work safety standards
- Manage personnel scheduling, holidays and work allocation
- Oversee fleet and equipment maintenance and incident response
- Communicate availability status and coordinate switching operations
- Drive continuous improvement processes and non-conformity tracking
Profil recherché
- Experience in power plant or renewable energy operations management
- Knowledge of substations, high/medium voltage lines and electrical systems
- Proficiency with SCADA monitoring systems
- Strong incident analysis and troubleshooting capabilities
- Personnel and resource management experience
- Fluent in English (site operates internationally)
- On-call availability for emergency response
- Understanding of environmental and safety compliance requirements

- Background in wind or solar energy operations
- Familiarity with Polish regulations
- Project management certification
- Experience with ERP systems
