Voltalia, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its Rio de Janeiro office. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our Brazilian operations, supporting our rapid growth in Latin America's energy transition. You will manage accounting records, prepare financial statements, and ensure adherence to Brazilian accounting standards and international IFRS regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, internationally-focused environment where your financial expertise directly contributes to scaling renewable energy projects across the region. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, finance, and senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting and timely financial insights. Vos missions
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements in compliance with Brazilian standards
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist with tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Support audit activities and provide financial documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams on budget tracking and cost control
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (NBCTG) or IFRS
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in renewable energy or project-based industries
- CPA or equivalent professional certification
- Experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of international accounting practices
