EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production, seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Renewable Generation Assets team in Carregado, Portugal. In this critical role, you will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical, electronic, and automation systems across our renewable energy facilities. You will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults in electrical panels, motors, variable frequency drives, sensors, actuators, control systems, and substations. Your expertise in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals will be essential to optimize plant performance and reliability. Working in a safety-first, quality-focused environment, you will collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and operations teams to drive continuous process improvement. You will maintain technical documentation, leverage SAP systems for maintenance management, and stay current with industry standards through ongoing technical training. Vos missions
- Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults across various plant systems
- Work on electrical panels, motors, variable frequency drives, sensors, actuators, control systems and substations
- Read, interpret and analyze electrical schematics, diagrams, technical drawings and manuals
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards in industrial environment
- Prepare technical reports and record maintenance activities using SAP systems
- Collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation and operations teams on maintenance and process optimization
Profil recherché
- Training at 12th grade or Technical-professional courses in Electrical Installations, Electrotechnics or Automation
- More than 2 years of professional experience in technical field with industrial electrical maintenance knowledge
- Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems, industrial electronics and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in team environment
- Good communication skills and commitment to service quality
- Residence or willingness to relocate near Carregado workplace (mandatory)
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience or familiarity with SAP Maintenance module
- Background in energy sector or heavy industry
- Level 5 Technological Specialization in Mechatronics or equivalent
