EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production, is seeking an Investments & M&A Expert to join its APAC platform in Singapore. This role is central to identifying, evaluating and executing high-impact renewable energy investments across wind, solar and hydrogen technologies. You will build sophisticated financial models and valuations, conduct comprehensive market and commercial analyses, and orchestrate complex M&A transactions from due diligence through closing. Working across geographies and revenue structures, you'll assess project economics, evaluate PPA models, merchant exposure and revenue risks, then translate findings into clear investment recommendations for senior stakeholders. This is a strategic position combining quantitative rigor, commercial acumen and stakeholder management—ideal for a finance professional passionate about accelerating the energy transition in Asia-Pacific.
Vos missions
- Build, maintain and update financial models and valuations for renewable energy investment and M&A opportunities
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to interpret investment metrics and support project economics assessment
- Own defined workstreams across the M&A transaction lifecycle, including due diligence coordination and closing readiness
- Coordinate due diligence inputs across departments, maintain issue trackers and analyse findings
- Prepare high-quality investment materials including memoranda, teasers and management presentations
- Research and analyse market, regulatory and macroeconomic developments affecting renewable energy in APAC
- Evaluate revenue models including PPA structures, merchant exposure and contracted revenue risks
- Coordinate inputs from relevant departments to support investment approvals and transaction milestones
Profil recherché
- Strong financial modelling and valuation experience in renewable energy or infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience in M&A transaction execution and due diligence processes
- Deep understanding of renewable energy business models, PPA structures and revenue risk assessment
- Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting principles and business structures
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to present complex analysis clearly
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external advisors
- Knowledge of APAC renewable energy markets and regulatory environment
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience in wind, solar or hydrogen energy projects
- Familiarity with energy trading and merchant revenue models
- Background in tax and legal transaction structures
- Knowledge of emerging markets in Asia-Pacific region
