Voltalia, a leading global renewable energy company, is seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect to join its Porto office and drive digital transformation across its operations. In this pivotal role, you will design and oversee the architecture of enterprise-scale data systems that support decision-making across solar, wind, and other renewable assets worldwide. You'll lead a team of data engineers and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex energy production requirements into robust, scalable data solutions. This is an opportunity to shape how Voltalia leverages data analytics, real-time monitoring, and AI-driven insights to optimize renewable energy generation and operational efficiency. You will architect data pipelines that integrate SCADA systems, IoT sensors, and business intelligence platforms, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across multiple geographies. Vos missions
- Design and oversee enterprise data architecture supporting renewable energy operations
- Lead data engineering teams in developing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Integrate SCADA systems, IoT sensors, and business intelligence platforms
- Ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance across global operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Architect real-time monitoring and analytics systems for production optimization
Profil recherché
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data systems design
- Proven expertise leading technical teams and managing large-scale data projects
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions
- Deep knowledge of data pipeline tools, ETL frameworks, and real-time streaming
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluent English; Portuguese a strong advantage
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience with renewable energy sector or industrial IoT systems
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial data integration
- Exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics in operations
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards
