EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production (wind, solar, hydrogen), seeks a Networks Planning & Projects Electrician to drive critical Medium and Low Voltage infrastructure development in Guarda, Portugal. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the complete lifecycle of network construction projects—from design and costing in company software to fieldwork supervision and stakeholder management. You'll collaborate with external service providers to ensure seamless project execution while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape Portugal's energy transition by identifying and proposing innovative network developments and investments across Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and Public Lighting systems. Working closely with the Operational Manager and Project Design team, you'll resolve technical challenges, address customer concerns, and optimize network capacity planning. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities will be essential in supporting day-to-day operations and continuous improvement. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on technical expertise, perfect for an ambitious professional committed to EDP's mission of creating new energy for the planet.
Vos missions
- Oversee design and costing of new Medium Voltage and Low Voltage construction works in company software
- Supervise fieldwork progress and manage external service provider availability and capacity
- Identify and propose new network developments and investments across MV, LV, and Public Lighting
- Ensure consistent implementation of safety procedures by internal teams and partners
- Support Operational Manager in handling day-to-day technical issues and operational challenges
- Collaborate with Project Design team to address customer complaints and technical concerns
- Plan and execute all network construction activities from conception to completion
Profil recherché
- Training at 12th Year level with Technological and Professional Courses in Electrical Installations Technician or related fields (Electrical Networks Technician, Electrical Installations, Electricity, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics)
- Professional experience between 3 and 8 years as technical staff in operational functions
- General knowledge of electrical systems—Medium and Low Voltage networks
- Proficiency in basic computer navigation (Windows) and Office tools
- Valid driver's license and availability for frequent travel
- Residence in Portugal, preferably near Guarda

- Experience with network planning software and technical design tools
- Knowledge of Portuguese electrical regulations and grid standards
