EDP Renewables, a global leader in renewable energy production, seeks a Project Engineer to support the delivery of critical solar and renewable energy projects across APAC. As a Project Engineer in Engineering & Procurement and Project Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll bridge engineering excellence and project delivery, coordinating site activities, reviewing technical specifications, and managing contractor performance while maintaining compliance with design, safety, and regulatory requirements. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge PV system technologies and the opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy installations that drive the global energy transition. You'll engage directly with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers, translating complex technical concepts into actionable project insights. Your contributions will directly impact project success metrics and reinforce EDP's commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions. Vos missions
- Support Project Manager in project planning, progress tracking and reporting
- Plan, coordinate and supervise site activities ensuring compliance with design, quality and safety requirements
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, escalate deviations in timeline or cost
- Review technical drawings, specifications and construction methodologies for accuracy and constructability
- Address technical queries relating to design, system performance and installation
- Prepare technical submissions, site reports and project documentation
- Manage contractors and third-party service providers to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery
- Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements to enhance project efficiency
Profil recherché
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 2 years of working experience in EPC, Energy, Power or Construction
- Ability to interpret technical drawings (single-line diagrams and civil layouts)
- Sound understanding of PV system components
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
- Proven track record managing stakeholder relationships
- Good project management skills with clear reporting and communication ability
- Confidence in presenting to and engaging customers
Un plus si vous avez
- Prior renewable energy or construction industry experience
- Solar industry experience
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Cross-functional project mobility and international exposure
