Join EDP Renewables' Renewable Generation Assets platform in Madrid as a Forecasting Intern and contribute to the energy transition. In this hands-on role, you'll develop and optimize forecasting models that enhance the management of renewable energy plants across multiple EDP geographies. Working with Python, you'll monitor model outputs through Power BI dashboards and deploy innovative tools into both Linux and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. This internship offers direct exposure to real-world challenges in renewable energy forecasting, where your technical contributions will directly impact operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. You'll collaborate with experienced teams on high-impact projects that shape EDP's commitment to becoming fully green by 2030. Vos missions
- Develop and refine forecasting models for renewable energy plants across multiple EDP geographies
- Monitor and analyze model outputs using Power BI dashboards
- Deploy new forecasting tools to internal servers on Linux and Microsoft Azure platforms
- Implement Python-based solutions to optimize renewable energy plant management
- Support integration of forecasting capabilities into operational workflows
Profil recherché
- Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Understanding of renewable energy systems or forecasting principles
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) or Linux environments
Un plus si vous avez
- Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools
- Knowledge of renewable energy forecasting methodologies
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
