EDP Renewables seeks an experienced Value Management Senior Specialist to drive financial, operational, and strategic performance across Client Solutions Europe. In this hybrid role based in Lisbon, you will act as the financial and operational compass for the region, ensuring rigorous investment discipline and independent validation of business cases, pricing models, and profitability metrics across multiple countries. Your mandate spans end-to-end portfolio performance monitoring—from origination through operations—identifying value creation and optimization opportunities at every stage. You will lead transformational initiatives focused on profitability improvement, OPEX efficiency, CAPEX optimization, and commercial acceleration. This is a strategic role offering exposure to high-impact opportunities: structuring innovative business models (Solar + Storage, Heat solutions), supporting key customer accounts, and coordinating post-merger integration and earnout management. You will provide analytical and strategic counsel to the CS Europe Leadership and Country Managers, fostering cross-functional collaboration across Product Development, Global Accounts, Commercial Excellence, GAM, and local teams. If you combine strong financial acumen, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to navigate complex matrix environments with senior-level influence, this role offers the autonomy and ownership to shape energy's future.
Vos missions
- Drive financial, operational and strategic performance across CS Europe region
- Monitor end-to-end portfolio profitability from origination through operations
- Ensure investment discipline and independent challenge of business cases and pricing models
- Lead performance excellence initiatives including profitability improvement and OPEX efficiency
- Support strategic projects and structuring of new business models (Solar + Storage, Heat)
- Coordinate post-merger integration, earnout management and strategic transformation
- Provide strategic and analytical support to CS Europe Lead and Country Managers
- Foster collaboration across Product Development, Global Accounts and local teams
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree in management, economics, finance or engineering
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate finance, consulting or investment management
- Strong financial and operational acumen with P&L exposure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with pragmatic mindset
- Ability to work across geographies and functions in matrix environment
- High level of autonomy, execution capacity and ownership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for senior stakeholder interaction
- Fluent in English

- Exposure to M&A transactions, integrations or earnout management
- Experience with pricing strategy and commercial transformation
- Knowledge of energy storage, distributed generation or new energy solutions
- Experience supporting market expansion or new market entry initiatives
